On April 25, 2021, The Oxford Borough Police attempted to serve a felony warrant on 26 year old, Jason Samuel Shultz along the unit block of S 4th Street. Shultz jumped out a second story window and fled from police. Hours later, officers observed Shultz driving a pick up truck and led police on a pursuit into the townships. The pursuit ended along the 200 block West Ridge Road, West Nottingham Township. Shultz suffered from multiple self-inflicted stab wounds and was transported to the hospital. The Oxford Police were assisted by Pennsylvania State Police.
