The Parkesburg Borough Police Department provides professional policing services to the Borough of Parkesburg and Highland Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Parkesburg began providing contracted police services in 1999, providing police coverage to Atglen Borough, Avondale Borough, Honey Brook Borough and Kennett Township through municipal agreements.  

The agency is comprised of administrative staffing and clerical support; a Patrol Division, Criminal Investigations, Drug Enforcement, Traffic Safety & Commercial Vehicle enforcement, Community Policing/Public Relations/Professional Standards and actively participates in various multi-jurisdictional and regional policing objectives.

The department’s Citizen’s Police Academy offers a unique perspective into the duties and responsibilities of policing through current conditions. The department has graduated many groups of "informed" and community-oriented residents that understand their collective responsibilities within the community and partner with police to enhance this community's overall safety. We're quite proud of this valuable partnership.
