As the current Snow Emergency comes to a peaceful ending @ 12:00 today, the Police Department would like to thank all residents (and the motoring public) along the boro's posted Snow Emergency routes for their ongoing cooperation and partnership in keeping these roadways accessible for continuous plow operations. Please know that your attentiveness to these declarations keeps our community safe and operational during emergency situations. As we keep an eye on the extended forecasts and with Punxsutawney Phil's prediction for 6-more weeks of winter...it seems we're not out of the snowy woods yet. Stay tuned, stay alert and stay safe!
