Due to the forecasted heavy snow fall predicted for Wednesday into Thursday (Dec 16-17, 2020) Mayor Hagan has declared a Snow Emergency effective at 5PM on Wednesday, 12/16/20, through 5PM Thursday, 12/17/20, for posted Snow Emergency Routes. Residents who routinely park along these posted roadways are to seek alternate parking for the duration of this emergency BEFORE 5PM Wednesday. Vehicles illegally parked on posted Snow Emergency Routes are subject to ticketing and towing at the owner's expense. 

Snow Emergency routes- West First Avenue, W. Main Street, Strasburg Avenue and West Bridge Street. 

Should the snowfall amounts be less than forecasted, this emergency MAY end sooner. An update will be posted on this site if needed.
