Preventing crime is our first priority. We understand that building, cultivating and maintaining the community’s trust is the key element in crime reduction in our community. We are committed to reducing crime in our neighborhoods by establishing close partnerships with our residents and the business community. 
 
The men and women of the West Chester Police Department will be diligent in our efforts to identify and arrest person’s engaged in illegal behavior, and to help our citizens develop long-term solutions to community challenges. I believe a police department can only be as good as the partnerships it creates with our community.   Together, through information sharing and crime fighting strategies, we share the responsibility of working toward the continued improvement of our quality of life.
