West Whiteland Twp Police Department is proud to announce the launch of the Blue Envelope Program, now available for all residents.
How does it work?
The Blue Envelope is designed to assist community members who may be on the autism spectrum or who experience other communication challenges. The Blue Envelope provides officers with an immediate signal that a driver may have unique communication needs. Traffic stops and other encounters with law enforcement can sometimes feel stressful or overwhelming. The Blue Envelope helps create safer, clearer, and more positive interactions by giving officers important information right away.
Where to get one?
Blue Envelopes are available free of charge at the West Whiteland Township Police Department:
101 Commerce Dr, Exton, PA 19341, in the main lobby off the first floor of the township building
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
We encourage families, caregivers, and residents who could benefit from this program to stop by and pick up a Blue Envelope. Together, we can build stronger connections and ensure that every member of our community feels understood and supported.
Thank you to the Chester County FOP Lodge #11 and Chester County Police Chiefs Association for sponsoring this program!
