Dennis Burnett, age 42, of Kennett Square was charged with DUI and related offenses, following a traffic stop of a vehicle he was operating. The incident occurred on May 25, 2022 at approximately 2:44PM, in the 600 Block of S. Broad Street. Burnett displayed signs of intoxication and Standardized Field Sobriety Tests revealed impairment. He was transported to Chester County Hospital for a Chemical Test of his blood and then transferred to Chester County Prison for a confirmed warrant out of a different law enforcement agency. Chemical Blood Tests results were received with positive findings of controlled substances in his system at the time of the incident. Charges were filed with District Court 15-3-04.
