Submission Information:
The Kennett Square Police Department prefers Right-To-Know Requests to be submitted electronically through Crimewatch; however, Right-To-Know Request forms can be obtained in person at the Kennett Square Police Department during regular business hours, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
All Right-To-Know requests must be submitted on an official Kennett Square Police Department RTK request form or PA state RTK request form from the PA Office of Open Records.
PA RTK forms and RTK Appeals forms can be found on the PA Office of Open Records website.
Important Information:
If a record is denied, requestors can appeal the denial in writing to the Office of Open Records, 333 Market St., 16th Floor, Harrisburg, PA 17101-2234. Additionally, appeals can be filed online at the Office of Open Records website: https://www.openrecords.pa.gov.

If you choose to file an appeal, you must do so within 15 business days of the mailing date of the agency’s response. See 65 P.S. § 67.1101. Please note that a copy of your original RTKL request, the agency’s extension notice (if applicable), and this denial letter should be included when filing an appeal.
