Parking

The Kennett Square Police Department Parking enforcement officers conduct primary parking enforcement in the Borough. 

Parking has never been easier in Kennett Square with Passport Parking. Just download the Passport App from your phone's app store. Then enter your car, license plate and credit card information and follow the prompts. The App will notify you when your parking is about to expire and you can add time right from your phone. No hassle and no worries with Passport Parking. As a part of the mobile payment for parking program, the app will be available at on and off-street parking locations in the Kennett Square area where signage is displayed.

Parking is free on Sunday and everyday after 5PM. Free parking on Saturday in all areas of the Municipal garage at Union and Linden Streets and in all municipal lots. 3-hour limit for on street parking Monday through Saturday, 9AM- 5PM. 

Parking meters enforced Monday through Saturday 9AM - 5PM. Parking Rate: 25 cents for 15 minutes (accepts quarters, dimes and nickels). Tokens and Smart Cards can be purchased at the Police Station, 115 N. Broad Street.

Parking can also be paid with tokens. 1 token for 20 minutes (ONLY sold in bags of 100 for $20.00 with a savings of 5 cents per 20 minutes). Smart Cards are user friendly and can be purchased for $16.00 for a $20.00 card, $24.00 for a $30.00 card, $32.00 for a $40.00 card and $40.00 for a $50.00 card. Smart Cards and parking tokens are available for purchase at the police station located at 115 North Broad Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.

Parking tickets received can be contested by filling out the attached form and returning it with a copy of the parking ticket to our station at 115 North Broad Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
