On Tuesday, September 1, 2020, an Officer was dispatched to Landhope Farms, in the 500 Block of South Union Street, in reference to a theft discovered. When watching the surveillance video footage, the Officer observed a black male walk into Landhope Farms, go straight towards to counter and order a tobacco product. On the way out of the store, the male was seen grabbing a Chairty donation jar and head towards the front door, leaving the building with the donation money. After further investigation, by the Criminal Investigation Division and with the assistance of multiple tips submitted through Crimewatch, Officers were able to identify the male in the surveillance video as Marcus Hector, 22, from West Grove, PA.  On September 8, 2020 charges of Theft and related offenses were filed against Marcus Hector with District Court 15-3-04. Case is pending a preliminary hearing.
