Todd Yanacek, age 30, of Newark, DE, was arrested and charged with DUI and related offenses, following a traffic stop that was initiated due to Yanacek failing to stop at a posted stop sign. The incident occurred on February 25, 2023, at approximately 9:28 PM, in the area of Birch Street and S. Walnut Street, Kennett Square Borough. Upon making contact with the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Yanacek, Officers observed indicators suggesting intoxication, and field sobriety tests showed impairment. Todd Yanacek submitted to a chemical test of his breath, resulting in a .147% BAC, and was transported to Central Booking for arraignment. Charges were filed at District Court 15-3-04.
