Due to an overwhelming response by our community, the suspect in this incident has been identified. KSPD thanks all that have assisted with this investigation.
On September 1, 2020, it was reported to the Kennett Square Police Department that an unknown person stole the Charity Collection Bin from the countertop of the Landhope Farms Convenience Store located at 536 South Union Street. The male was driving the pictured maroon 2005-2011 Honda Odyssey minivan with unknown possibly Pennsylvania registration plate.
The vehicle is observed coming from and later returning towards the Stenning Hills area via West South Street. The driver and suspect in the theft is a black male wearing a black shirt and black pants. There is an unknown emblem or sticker on his shirt. The passenger in the vehicle is observed to be a white, unknown Hispanic or Non-Hispanic, male with dark hair wearing a black shirt.

The charity collection program is a Landhope initiative. Each month, the money collected from their stores benefits a different charity. August’s charity was a local group that benefits families experiencing homelessness.
