10/5/25, at 7:30 AM, Officers observed a black Toyota in the 800 Block of Hornblende Avenue with an expired registration, emissions, and inspection stickers. (KS-25-010696). This vehicle was marked abandoned and will need to be removed from the roadway.
10/5/25, at 10:19 AM, Officers observed graffiti under the S. Union Street Bridge. (KS-25-010701). Photographs of the vandalism were taken.
10/5/25 at 11:43 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of S. Mill Road for a female subject sitting on a curb with suitcases and a dog. (KS-25-010706). Contact was made with the subject, who advised they were waiting for an Uber to take them to a nearby hotel. Officers provided courtesy transport to the hotel without issue.
10/5/25, at 12:30 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a female subject who had been sleeping inside a vehicle in a parking lot for the past week or two. (KS-25-010707). Contact was made with the subject, who advised their spouse works in the area and they would wait for them in the vehicle rather than driving back and forth from Philadelphia. No suspicious activity was observed.
10/5/25, at 10:53 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Center Street for a verbal domestic. (KS-25-010729). Upon further investigation, it was determined that no criminal actions had occurred.
10/5/25, at 10:54 PM, Officers were dispatched for a disturbance at a business in the 500 Block of W. Cypress Street. (KS-25-010730). The employees reported that a male subject was arguing with them over the cost of his food and requested that he leave the area. He was checked for active warrants and then released to walk to his residence.
10/6/25, at 11:44 AM, Officers were dispatched to the area of E. Mulberry Street and Church Alley for a report of loud music. (KS-25-010754). Upon arrival, no loud music was observed in the area. Contact was made with a subject who was cleaning their vehicle and listening to music at a reasonable level on a small speaker.
10/6/25, at 1:42 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of E. Linden Street to provide a police escort for the Mobile Crisis vehicle, which was on-site to assist a female juvenile experiencing a manic episode. (KS-25-010758).
10/6/25, at 3:11 PM, Officers were dispatched to address a report concerning the safety of protestors in town, as individuals were encroaching on the roadway, and they felt it was unsafe. (KS-25-010760).
10/6/25, at 3:38 PM, Officers were dispatched to the area of S. Union Street and E. Cypress Street for a disabled vehicle. (KS-25-010762). Officers assisted in moving the truck to a legal parking space, not blocking traffic, to wait for a tow.
10/7/25, at 8:24 AM, Officers were dispatched to a business in the 400 Block of S. Walnut Street for a report of a broken window. (KS-25-010795). The reporting party advised that nothing was missing from inside the business. This incident is pending further investigation.
10/7/25, at 4:15 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Race Street in response to a report of an adult male taking photographs of children getting on and off the school bus from his apartment window. (KS-25-010814). This incident is pending further investigation.
10/7/25, at 7:42 PM, Officers were dispatched to the area of W. Mulberry and Meredith Streets for a parking complaint involving vehicles parked on the corner blocking views on the turn. No description of the vehicles was provided. (KS-25-010821). Patrols were conducted throughout the area with no parking violations observed.
10/7/25, at 10:05 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Birch Street for a possible driver under the influence. (KS-25-010827). The area was checked with negative results for the vehicle described by the reporting person.
10/8/25, at 9:52 AM, Officers were dispatched for a verbal domestic in the 500 block of D. Street. (KS-25-010845). Upon contacting both subjects involved, it was learned that there was a minor disagreement between the two subjects, and they were advised to give each other some space.
10/8/25, at 7:39 PM, during a routine patrol of the Parking Garage, Officers observed several subjects loitering on the top floor. (KS-25-010869). While speaking with the subjects, Officers observed two open beer bottles sitting on the ledge. Two Non-Traffic Citations for open containers were issued.
10/9/25, at 2:52 AM, Officers were dispatched to the area of E. Cypress Street and S. Broad Street for a disabled Honda. (KS-25-010876). Upon arrival, a male subject was observed asleep inside the vehicle with the engine running. After further investigation, the subject was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
10/9/25, at 11:36 AM, Officers assisted the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department with a report regarding a threat made via text message. (KS-25-010896). KSPD was advised that a possible fight was being planned for the following day in the Borough.
10/9/25, at 3:55 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Center Street Apartment parking lot because it had aftermarket window tint applied to the side windows and windshield. (KS-25-010898). The operator’s driver’s license was suspended due to a prior DUI conviction. A traffic citation was issued, and they were advised that they could not operate the vehicle due to the suspension.
10/9/25, at 7:37 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of E. Linden Street for a physical domestic between an adult male and a juvenile male. (KS-25-010903). Subsequently, both parties involved were charged with simple assault and other related offenses.
10/9/25, at 10:55 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of W. Cypress Street in response to a noise complaint regarding loud music emanating from a brown SUV. (KS-25-010904). The music from the vehicle did not appear to be excessive, but they were asked to lower it due to the complaint.
10/10/25, at 5:41 AM, Officers assisted the Pennsylvania State Police Computer Crime Unit in the 100 Block of W. Cypress Street with a search warrant. (KS-25-010911).
10/10/25, at 12:00 PM, Officers were dispatched for a possible sexual assault report. (KS-25-010924). Due to the location of the incident, the report was turned over to the Kennett Township Police Department.
10/10/25, at 2:06 PM, Officers successfully unlocked a vehicle with the keys locked inside in the 100 Block of W. State Street. (KS-25-010925).
10/10/25, at 2:25 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of E. Cypress Street for a report involving an unknown individual opening the reporting party’s packages and then leaving them on the floor. (KS-25-010926). Nothing was reported missing at this time.
10/10/25, at 7:07 PM, Officers were dispatched for a missing dog that had jumped out of a parked vehicle in the 100 Block of Race Street. (KS-25-010933). The Borough was checked, but the dog was not located.
10/11/25, at 2:37 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of S. Broad Street in response to a parking complaint regarding a vehicle parked illegally. (KS-25-010955). One parking ticket was issued to the vehicle parked in the area that is marked “no parking from here to curb.”
10/11/25, at 3:03 PM, Officers were dispatched to investigate a reported fraud involving the opening of a fraudulent cell phone account. (KS-25-010959). The victim is allegedly out approximately $950. This is pending further investigation.
10/9/25 at 10:56 AM, a vehicle accident occurred on S. Walnut Street. (KS-25-010887).
