1/8/23 at 5:44PM, Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 100 Block of E. Maple Alley, involving multiple vehicles blocking the roadway. (KS-23-000667). No vehicles were seen blocking the roadway when this area was checked.
1/8/23 at 2:53AM, while on patrol in the Business District, Officers were approached by a female who requested a ride home, since her phone was dead so she could not request an Uber. (KS-23-000638). Officers transported the female to her residence in Avondale.
1/8/22 at 3:23PM, while conducting an ENRADD traffic detail in the 200 Block of N. Union Street, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for traveling 46MPH in a marked 25MPH zone. (KS-23-000664). Upon stopping the vehicle, PennDOT records indicated the registration was suspended for unpaid tolls and the inspection and emissions stickers were expired as well. Subsequently, the vehicle was towed.
1/9/23 at 11:00AM, Officers were dispatched for an animal complaint in the 600 Block of E. Cope Road, for a report of a loose, large, white dog. (KS-23-000692). Due to two previous incidents involving this dog, a Non-Traffic Citation was issued to the owner for the loose dog.
01/9/23 at 10:34PM, Officers received two calls from Chester County Police Radio for a report of a loud vehicle travelling south bound on S. Union Street. (KS-23-000706). Officers responded and observed no loud vehicles in the area.
1/10/23 at 3:14PM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment regarding tenants attempting to put up a new sign, in the 100 Block of W. State Street, which the owner did not approve. (KS-23-000734). The owner was informed this was a civil matter and would have to be addressed in civil court as a breach of their landlord-tenant contract.
1/11/23 at 10:30AM, Officers were flagged down by a male subject, who explained he hears a loud bang on his front door or side window between 7:00PM – 10:00PM and believes someone is hitting his residence and running away. (KS-23-000753). Officers advised to call 911 when this situation happens.
1/12/23 at 8:22AM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of E. South Street for a report of a previous accident, earlier that day. (KS-23-000779). No damage was observed to the vehicle, a copy of the accident exchange form was provided via email.
1/13/23 at 11:55PM, Officers observed a group of juvenile males walking North in the 400 Block of S. Union Street. (KS-23-000). The juveniles were advised of the Borough Ordinance for curfew. All parents of the juveniles were advised of the filing of Non-Traffic Citations for this incident.
1/13/23 at 10:49PM, Officers turned behind a vehicle on E. State Street off of Cope Road. (KS-23-000828). Once behind the vehicle, Officers observed an odor of marijuana. Subsequently, a traffic stop was initiated, resulting in a Non-Traffic Citation issued for the operator of the vehicle. No signs of impairment were observed while speaking with the subject.
1/13/23 at 10:08AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a theft of a packing in the 300 Block of E. State Street. (KS-23-000808). Pending contact with package owner.
1/14/23 at 1:47PM, Officers were dispatched for criminal mischief in the 300 Block of Lafayette Stree.t (KS-23-000). Damage was observed and documented to the victim’s car and door. A patrol car was requested in the area to deter further criminal mischief.
1/10/23 at 9:58AM, Officers were dispatched for a Reportable Accident at the intersection of E. Cypress Street and S. Broad Street. (KS-23-000721).
1/12/23 at 8:29AM, Officers were dispatched for a Non-Reportable Accident on S. Union Street. (KS-23-000779).
