2/12/232 at 9:25PM, Officers were dispatched for a traffic complaint, at the intersection of S. Union Street and Cedar Street, for an unoccupied vehicle with a flat tire blocking the intersection. (KS-23-001737). It was determined that the vehicle’s passenger side tire had struck the guard rail at a great enough speed to break the axle and blow out the tire. The vehicle then scraped along the guard rail as it continued to travel northbound on S. Union Street, causing further cosmetic damage to the vehicle and blow out the rear passenger side tire.
2/13/23 at 3:25PM, Officers were dispatched for a missing person in the 100 Block of N. Young Avenue. (KS-23-001766). While obtaining information on the missing person, Officers were advised they were outside of the residence. All was ok.
2/14/23 at 3:49PM, Officers received a report regarding possible theft from a residence in the 200 Block of S. Garfield Street. (KS-23-001795). The reporting party advised they did not know what was taken, only that a neighbor had advised them of the incident.
2/15/23 at 10:39PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of W. Cypress Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. (KS-23-001853). Contact was made with the residents. Both parties advised they were having a verbal disagreement and it never became physical. There were no visible marks on either party.
2/15/23 at 6:51PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Juniper Street, for a physical domestic between parent and juvenile. (KS-23-001847).
2/15/23 at 10:28PM, Officers from Southern Chester County Regional Police Department requested assistance with arresting a subject for domestic violence related charges in the 100 Block of Willow Street, Toughkenamon. (KS-23-001855). Once the subject was taken into custody the Officer returned to the Borough.
2/15/23 at 12:48PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Meredith Street for a noise complaint of a motorcycle engine running. (KS-23-001830). The homeowner did shut off the motorcycle without incident.
2/15/23 at 8:06PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of S. Union Street for a report of cars doing donuts and revving their engines. (KS-23-001849). Upon arriving on location, no engines revving was heard. No one in the area had any knowledge of the complaints.
2/16/23 at 9:25PM, Officers were requested to assist Kennett Township Police Department with serving a 302 warrant on Deer Pond Lane. (KS-23-001906). The subject was transported to the hospital by EMS personnel.
2/16/23 at 11:00AM, Officers were advised of a report in reference to a group of juveniles causing minor damage to the bathroom inside a property in the 100 Block of W. State Street. (KS-23-001883). Pending investigation.
2/17/23 at 11:55AM, Officers were dispatched for a parking complaint, involving a vehicle parking in a no parking zone, in the 100 Block of W. State Street. (KS-23-001925). One parking ticket was issued.
2/18/23 at 2:41PM, Officers were contacted by an anonymous caller, advising there was a suspicious Uhaul, in the 500 Block of S. Union Street, which appeared to be selling items from the back. (KS-23-001975). Contact was made with the operator of the vehicle, who was advised they would need a permit for operating a business in the Borough.
2/18/23 10:19PM, while conducting stationary patrol in the 600 Block of E. Cypress Street, Officers observed a vehicle traveling the wrong direction on a one way street. (KS-23-00200). A traffic stop was initiated and turned over to Kennett Township Police Department due to jurisdiction.
2/18/23 at 11:50PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of W. State Street for a suspicious condition. (KS-23-002001). Upon making contact with the subject involved, it was observed that he was highly intoxicated. A Non-Traffic Citation was issued for Public Drunkenness.
