2/19/23 at 8:51AM, Officers were dispatched to the area of E. Linden Street and N. Willow Street for a parking complaint of two vehicles. (KS-23-002011). Both vehicles were issued tickets for being parked along a fence which is posted “No Parking This Side”.
2/19/23 at 10:21AM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment in reference to a car alarm which was set off in the 600 Block of E. Cope Road. (KS-23-002012). The reporting person did not see anyone in the area and no signs of damage was found on the vehicle. Patrols were conducted in the area with no suspicious activity observed.
2/19/23 at 7:55PM, Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 500 Block of E. State Street, for a vehicle traveling at 55mph, in a marked 25mph zone. (KS-23-002024). Upon making contact with the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, alcoholic beverages were observed in the backseat. A traffic citation and Non-Traffic Citation for the illegal possession and transport of alcoholic beverages were issued.
2/20/23 at 12:16AM, Officers were dispatched for a report in reference to the reporting person’s child taking their vehicle without permission in the 400 Block of S. Broad Street. (KS-23-002030). Pending investigation if charges will be filed by reporting person.
2/21/23 at 8:28PM, Officers were dispatched for a domestic disturbance in the 600 Block of W. Mulberry Street. (KS-23-002094). One subject was taken into custody.
2/22/23 at 8:37AM, while on patrol in the 100 Block of Scarlett Avenue, Officers observed two vehicles with expired PA inspection. (KS-23002107). Both vehicles were marked with an orange abandoned sticker. Due to one of the vehicles previously being marked abandoned, it was later towed.
2/22/23 at 10:35AM, one Non-Traffic Citation was issued to a juvenile, for Public Drunkenness. (KS-23-002123).
2/22/23 at 5:26PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of an assault in the area of the 600 Block of S. Walnut Street. (KS-23-002135). Officers were flagged down by a witness and were shown where the incident occurred. The incident was turned over to Kennett Township Police due to jurisdiction.
2/22/23 at 7:07PM, Officers were dispatched for a harassment type report involving a parking complaint in the 700 Block of S. Garfield Street. (KS-23-002136). Officers advised all parties involved, to notify police of parking complaints rather than taking it into their own hands.
2/23/23 at 10:41AM, while on patrol in the 800 Block of S. Garfield Street, Officers observed a vehicle with no tag displayed. (KS-23-002164). The vehicle was checked and found no temp tag in the window, VIN was ran and comes back with an expired PA registration. The vehicle was marked with an orange abandoned sticker.
2/23/23 at 8:25PM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment in reference to a report of barking dogs and parking issued in the 600 Block of Cope Road. (KS-23-002189). The reporting party was advised that patrols would be conducted in the area which was described to observe any traffic or parking violations.
2/23/23 at 2:43PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a suspicious condition in the 300 Block of Juniper Street, in reference to two individuals soliciting in the area and refusing to leave. (KS-23-002175). Contact was made with the solicitors who were advised they needed a permit to sell anything in the Borough.
2/24/23 at 11:48AM, Officers were flagged down in reference to a theft of Airpods in the 400 Block S. Walnut Street. The owner of the stolen items was able to track them through their phone. (KS-22-002218). Pending investigation.
2/24/23 at 6:59PM, Officers were dispatched to assist Kennett Township Police Department with a disturbance on Ways Lane. KSPD assisted in maintaining officer safety as there were three intoxicated subjects involved in an argument and possible physical altercation. (KS-23-002244).
2/24/23 at 10:35PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a burglary in the 700 Block of Lafayette Street. (KS-23-002241). Pending charges.
2/25/23 at 10:23AM, Officers received a report of a theft from vehicle, which occurred around four weeks ago. (KS-23-002256). The reporting party stated they originally assumed they misplaced the items, until they saw them listed for sale online. Pending investigation.
2/25/23 at 9:26PM, while conducting a stationary patrol at the intersection of Birch Street and S. Walnut Street, Officers observed a vehicle fail to stop at the stop sign at the intersection. (KS-23-002275). The operator of the vehicle was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

2/23/23 at 1:08PM, Officers were dispatched for a Non-Reportable Accident at the intersection of S. Union Street and E. State Street. (KS-23-002167).
