2/4/24 at 11:14AM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of S. Union Street for a disturbance. (KS-24-001044). Officers provided the subject with a letter from the business stating he was banned from the store.
2/4/24 at 2:45PM, Officers were dispatched to a physical/verbal domestic in the 100 Block of Race Street. (KS-24-001056). One juvenile allegation was completed for the male subject relating to domestic assault.
2/4/24 at 12:09AM, while on patrol in the area of the 100 Block of W. State Street and Center Street, Officers observed a black pickup truck fail to make a complete stop at the stop sign at Center Street and W. Cypress Street. (KS-24-001029). Subsequently, the operator of the vehicle was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
2/5/24 at 4:26PM, Officers were dispatched for a domestic disturbance with a ten-to-fifteen-minute time delay in the 100 Block of N. Walnut Street. (KS-24-001079). Chester County Police Radio advised a male subject had entered a residence without permission, yelled at a female in the residence, took that females phone and left. The female victim stated she did not want the male charged with a crime for entering without permission.
2/6/24 at 8:00AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a broken window on a vehicle in the 700 Block of Meredith Street. (KS-24-001098). Ring video footage and neighborhood interviews were conducted with negative results of identifying the subject who caused the damage.
2/6/24 at 2:45PM, Officers received a noise complaint for loud exhaust, engine revving and popping in the 400 Block of S. Union Street. (KS-24-001112). A traffic detail was initiated in this area to help alleviate the issue.
2/7/24 at 5:02PM, Officers were dispatched to the area of E. State Street and N. Union Street for a suspicious condition of a male walking around yelling and cursing. (KS-24-001146). It was noted there was a three-minute time delay on this call. Upon arrival, all units were unable to lace an individual matching the description given.
2/7/24 at 6:21PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of E. Linden Street for a report of a group of juveniles on private property. (KS-24-001150). Officers made contact with the group who advised they were playing hide and seek. The juveniles all emptied out their pockets and only possessed their cellphones. There appeared to be no signs of suspicious activity from these juveniles.
2/8/24 1:38AM, while on patrol in the area of S. Broad Street and E. State Street, Officers observed a male on the sidewalk, who had a sway in his stance when he stopped walking. (KS-24-001161). Upon making contact, the subject advised he had a few drinks at a friend’s residence. Officers provided a courtesy ride to his residence.
2/9/24 at 8:37PM, while conducting a conducting a routine patrol check of Anson B. Nixon Park, Officers observed a vehicle with two occupants asleep in the back seat. (KS-24-001217). Upon making contact with the occupants, they advised they were hanging out and fell asleep, not realizing what time it was. The subjects left the park without incident.
2/9/24 at 4:58PM, Officers received a report on station in reference to damage to a vehicle in the 100 Block of W. South Street. (KS-24-001212). Officers observed a chip and spider cracks coming from the chip in the windshield. The reporting party indicated they do not have cameras to observed how the damage occurred.
2/10/24 at 10:03AM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of W. Cypress Street for the theft of kerosene. (KS-24-001239). Officers observed video footage of an individual filling up a container of kerosene and left without paying. Officers ran the registration on the vehicle and made contact at the provided address. The subject advised they normally pay prior to getting gas and forgot afterwards. They returned to the business and paid for the kerosene.
2/10/24 at 9:47PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of W. State Street for a suspicious condition, caller heard subjects running on the roof. (KS-24-001259). The area along the roofs were checked with negative results. While enroute the caller stated they heard a neighbor yelling at the subjects.
