3/5/23 at 2:09 PM, Officers were dispatched for shots fired complaint in the 600 Block of E. Cope Road. (KS-23-002579). Officers responded to the area but did not hear any gunshots. Contact was made with two subjects on Ways Lane who had written consent from the property owner to be able to shoot in that area. The reporting party was notified of the outcome.
3/5/23 at 2:48 AM, Officers observed a vehicle with two male occupants inside in the area of 300 Waterworks Drive. (KS-23-002563). No suspicious activity was observed. The two occupants were made aware the park closes at sunset.
3/5/23 at 11:17 AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of damage to an Airbnb in the 100 Block of E. State Street. (KS-23-25730). The owner called and advised they received a text message from other tenants that people were yelling in the apartment which sounded to be a domestic on 3/3/23 at 10:57 PM. Pending investigation.
3/6/23 at 2:13 PM, Officers were requested to assist Southern Chester County Police Department in the 300 Block of Cedar Springs Road, with a trespassing complaint, due to officers handling priority calls. (KS-23-002636). KSPD remained on scene to help maintain general scene security due to there being 8-10 subjects involved that were being aggressive towards each other.
3/7/23 at 9:27 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a physical domestic in the 500 Block of Magnolia Street. (KS-23-002642). Officers were shown a video of damage being conducted to the victim’s vehicle. One Non-Traffic Citation was issued.
3/7/23 at 1:55 PM, while conducting a speed detail in the 500 Block of E. State Street, Officers observed a vehicle with no registration displayed, which was clocked traveling at 42MPH in a 25MPH zone. (KS-23-002674). A traffic stop was completed, and the vehicle was towed away due to the expired registration, inspection, and driving without insurance.
3/8/23 at 9:05 AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a disturbance in the 500 Block of S. Walnut Street. (KS-23-002701). Pending investigation.
3/8/23 at 9:09 AM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment about a fraud report. (KS-23-002702). A total of $720 was taken from the victim’s account.
3/8/23 at 4:43 PM, Officers were dispatched for a trespassing complaint in the 300 Block of E. South Street. (KS-23-002716). This is an ongoing civil issue stemming from the property line bordering the residence.
3/9/23 at 4:17 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of S. Broad Street for a report of a dog bite. (KS-23-002743). The owners were able to provide up-to-date rabies shots.
3/10/23 at 5:18 PM, Officers were requested by Kennett Township Police Department to assist in locating a missing juvenile from their jurisdiction, who they had evidence to believe was currently in the 100 Block of W. State Street. (KS-23-002788). The missing juvenile was located and turned over to KTPD.
3/10/23 at 6:42 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of criminal mischief in the 300 Block of Lafayette Street. (KS-23-002789). The reporting party indicated this has been an ongoing issue with juveniles messing with their residence. Pending investigation.
3/10/23 at 8:01 PM, Officers were dispatched for a suspicious vehicle in the area of Las Rosas Drive and Center Street. (KS-23-002792). Contact was made with the two occupants of the vehicle, who stated they lived at the property and they would go inside.
3/10/23 at 8:27 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of S. Walnut Street for someone that was thrown out of a vehicle. Chester County Police Radio advised the male was last seen rolling around in the street. (KS-23-002493). Officers searched the area with negative results of the vehicle or any males in the area that matched the description given.
3/11/23 at 11:24 PM, Officers were dispatched for a domestic disturbance in the 700 Block of Wayne Avenue. (KS-23-002823). One Non-Traffic Citation was issued for Underage Drinking.
3/11/23 at 6:55 PM, Officers were dispatched for a domestic disturbance between father and son in the 400 Block of S. Broad Street. (KS-23-002816). The son was advised he is still a juvenile and his father is the one who makes the rules of the household. Both parties were advised to contact the police if any further assistance was required.
