4/9/23 at 6:00PM, while on patrol on W. Sickle Street, Officers were approached and advised they found a white and brown, medium sized dog wandering in the roadway on W. Sickle Street. (KS-23-003804). No missing dogs had been reported at this time.
4/9/23 at 10:12PM, Officers were dispatched to the police station for a male reporting he was threatened with a knife. (KS-23-003811). When speaking to the other party involved Officers were advised they argue, but have never gotten physical. The male subject was taken to a friend’s resident for the night.
4/10/23 at 3:47PM, Officers received a report involving suspicious condition inside their apartment. (KS-23-003845). Officers explained the compartment in which they thought there was a camera in their smoke detector was the battery compartment.
4/10/23 at 4:20PM, Officers received a report of possible assault involving a juvenile. (KS-23-003849). Pending investigation.
4/10/23 at 5:35PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a loose dog in the area of Center Street and Scarlett Avenue. (KS-23-003852). Upon arrival, the dog was located and ran home to its residence in the 700 Block of Center Street.
4/10/23 at 9:05AM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment in reference to missing $1,900 USC from a food stamp account. (KS-23-003823). Pending investigation.
4/11/23 at 3:04AM, Officers were advised of a vehicle being repossessed in the 600 Block of E. Cope Road. (KS-23-003863).
4/11/23 at 8:29AM, Officers were dispatched to the area of Worrall Avenue and S. Garfield Street to assist a motorist. (KS-23-3867). Officers assisted with escorting the driver safely to their destination on W. South Street.
4/11/23 at 12:07AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a domestic in the 200 Block of S. Union Street. (KS-23-003859). The subjects involved advised the argument was only verbal and it did not become physical at any point.
4/12/23 at 10:03PM, Officers were dispatched for a mental disorder involving a self-inflicted stab wound to the stomach in the 400 Block of S. Walnut Street. (KS-23-003939). The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
4/12/23 at 10:06 a CY47 report was received via email involving a juvenile and possible abuse. (KS-23-003912). Follow up was conducted with a pediatric doctor, who specializes in child abuse, who advised the issues were not abuse related.
4/12/23 at 9:15AM, Officers were dispatched for a parking complaint in the 400 Block of E. State Street. (KS-23-003908). The supervisor of the construction crew advised the area had not been posted no parking in the area so the vehicles could not be towed.
4/13/23 at 5:23PM, Officers were traveling in the 600 Block of W. Mulberry Street and observed two male subjects walking on the NVF property. (KS-23-003974). The property is fences in with signs clearly displayed posting notice against trespass. One Non-Traffic Citation was issued due to contact being made with the one subject previously for the same offense.
4/13/23 at 6:37PM, Officers were dispatched for a lost cell phone. The reporting party advised they were at the bank by Walmart and noticed their phone was gone on the way into town on a bicycle. (KS-23-003979). Officers travelled to the Bank of America and were able to locate the cell phone and return it to its owner.
4/13/23 at 9:27AM, Officers were dispatched for a two-month-old being scalded by hot water in the sink. (KS-23-003956). The baby was transported to the hospital to receive treatment. Parents were advised to adjust the hot water to prevent incidents like this from reoccurring.
4/14/23 at 4:48PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of W. State Street for a suspicious condition involving a juvenile possessing a gun. (KS-23-004014). After further investigation the juveniles were located in the area of Center Street and Cedar Street. The BB gun the juvenile possessed was taken into custody by police. Due to this being the second offense for the juvenile carrying a BB gun, a juvenile referral for he associated criminal charges has been filed.
4/14/23 at 1:11PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a drug complaint in the area of S. Washington Street and Magnolia Street. (KS-23-004004). Upon making contact nothing suspicious was observed and the male is not known from any prior history.
4/14/23 at 08:01AM, Officers received an email regarding possible theft by a former employee of a business in the 100 Block of W. State Street. (KS-23-004002). Pending further investigation.
4/15/23 at 3:38AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of an elderly, female that had fallen and couldn’t get up. (KS-23-004026). Due to the doors being locked, Officers were able to make forced entry with minimal damage to the door frame to assist the subject.
4/15/23 at 9:45PM, Officers were requested to assist Southern Chester County Regional with a disturbance involving a knife in the 1600 Block of Baltimore Pike. (KS-23-004052). KSPD was able to assist with translations needed during the incident.
4/9/23 at 1:21PM, Officers were dispatched for a Non-Reportable Accident on S. Union Street. (KS-23-003800).
4/10/23 at 10:32AM, Officers were dispatched for a Reportable Accident at the intersection of S. Broad Street and E. Cypress Street. (KS-23-003824).
4/10/23 at 4:23PM, Officers were dispatched for a Non-Reportable Accident on S. Union Street. (KS-23-003848).
4/13/23 at 10:16PM, Officers were dispatched for a Non-Reportable Accident at the intersection of E. Cypress Street and S. Broad Street. (KS-23-003983).
