5/4/25, at 3:22 AM, while conducting a patrol check in Anson B. Nixon Park, Officers observed an occupied vehicle in the parking lot by the bathrooms. (KS-25-004874). The subjects advised that they had gone to the park to talk. No contraband or deceptive indicators were observed, and they were instructed to leave.
5/4/25, at 10:29 AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of loud music and bass coming from a festival in the 600 Block of S. Broad Street. (KS-25-004880). The reporting party was contacted and advised that the music had already been reduced to normal.
5/4/25, at 1:03 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Hession Drive for a domestic disturbance (KS-25-004882). After speaking with all parties involved, it was advised that an Uber was in route, and the subjects went their separate ways.
5/4/25, at 7:48 PM, Officers assisted the Oxford Police Department and Pennsylvania State Police with translating a report from Spanish into English. (KS-25-004890).
5/5/25, at 5:13 PM, Officers were requested to be present for a custody exchange at the police department due to one of the subjects' possible poor demeanor. (KS-25-004906). The exchange took place without issue.
5/5/25, at 6:46 PM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment regarding an erratic driver in the 500 Block of Richards Road. (KS-25-004909). The reporting party advised that 20 minutes before the call, a vehicle was driving fast and almost hit their children in the street. The vehicle’s owner was contacted and advised to watch their speed in residential areas.
5/6/25, at 9:30 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of E. South Street for a report of the theft of a cellphone (KS-25-004947). This incident is pending charges.
5/6/25, at 6:13 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Juniper Street for damage discovered to a vehicle. (KS-25-004957). The incident is pending the review of Ring camera footage in the area.
5/6/25, at 11:46 PM, Officers were dispatched to the pickleball courts in the 100 Block of N. Walnut Street for a noise disturbance (KS-25-004966). They contacted three male subjects utilizing the courts and were advised that they were not open to the public when the YMCA was closed, and of the noise ordinance within the Borough. They left without issue.
5/7/25, at 7:28 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 E. South Street for a sinkhole on the right side of the street by the parking lot. (KS-25-004977). The area was coned off for safety, and public works was advised.
5/7/25, at 11:30 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of W. State Street for a potential fraudulent temporary registration (KS-25-004986). They contacted the vehicle's owner; the paperwork and temporary tag matched the vehicle's VIN and appeared authentic.
5/7/25, at 11:41 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Juniper Street for a report of a solicitor (KS-25-004988). The solicitor was contacted and advised that no soliciting is allowed in the Borough and that he would be cited if he returned.
5/7/25, at 11:53 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Juniper Street for a parking complaint of an abandoned vehicle (KS-25-004987). The registration expired in 2024, and dirt and debris had built up around the vehicle. It will need to be moved within 7 days of being marked abandoned.
5/7/25, at 4:49 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Center Street for a stabbing incident. (KS-25-004996). This incident is pending further investigation.
5/8/25, at 12:10 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Magnolia Street for an emotional disorder (KS-25-005009). Officers assisted in getting the patient into the ambulance to be transported to the hospital for a 302 warrant.
5/8/25, at 5:28 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of W. Mulberry Street for suspicious activity involving individuals climbing the water tower (KS-25-005016). They contacted three individuals who admitted to climbing the water tower but advised that they didn’t know it was private property or that they weren’t allowed. Their parents were contacted and advised that they would receive citations in the mail.
5/8/25, at 6:52 PM, Officers received a report of harassment via communication. (KS-25-005017). This incident is pending further investigation.
5/8/25, at 7:37 PM, while on stationary patrol in the 400 Block of E. State Street, Officers were approached by an individual requesting transport. (KS-25-005020). Upon checking his information in the National Crime Information Center, two active warrants out of Philadelphia and one out of Sussex County, DE, were observed. The individual was taken into custody and transported to Center Booking at Chester County Prison.
5/9/25, at 11:27 AM, Officers were contacted to assist a social worker with a juvenile female who fled her residence in the borough to live with her boyfriend. (KS-25-005037). Upon further investigation, it was determined that the juvenile was no longer residing with her boyfriend.
5/9/25, at 5:48 PM, Officers were dispatched to the Liberty Place parking lot for a parking complaint involving a vehicle parked on private property. (KS-25-005047). One parking ticket was issued.
5/10/25, at 11:01 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Harvey Circle for a hit-and-run accident (KS-25-005093). They located the operator of the striking vehicle and issued several citations.
5/6/25, at 6:32 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on Juniper Street. (KS-25-004957).
