9/14/25, at 9:37 AM, while monitoring traffic on W. Cypress Street, Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration. (KS-25-009882). Upon further investigation, it was learned that the vehicle did not have valid insurance and was towed from the scene. A Non-Traffic Citation for Disorderly Conduct was issued for the drug paraphernalia located while completing the vehicle inventory prior to the tow.
9/14/25, at 5:01 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of an erratic driver. (KS-25-009891). Based on the details provided by the reporting party, they were referred to the Kennett Township Police Department.
9/14/25, at 5:41 PM, Officers were dispatched for a vehicle accident in the 100 Block of W. Cypress Street. (KS-25-009894). Upon further investigation, charges were filed in District Court 15-3-04 for the striking vehicle operator for suspicion of DUI.
9/14/25, at 10:56 PM, Officers were dispatched for a domestic dispute in the 300 Block of E. Linden Street. (KS-25-009902). Subsequently, charges of Terroristic Threats and related offenses were filed in District Court 15-3-04.
9/15/25, at 8:38 AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of obscene stickers being placed on light posts and pedestrian crossing controls at the intersection of State Street and Union Street. (KS-25-009914). Patrol was advised to check these areas during their foot patrols in the business district and to remove any obscene stickers.
9/15/25, at 9:59 AM, a CY47 ChildLine report was received regarding alleged child maltreatment. (KS-25-009921). After further investigation, negative results for maltreatment were discovered.
9/15/25 at 1:20 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of E. South Street for a physical altercation. (KS-25-009925). Two Non-Traffic Citations were issued.
9/16/25, at 9:30 AM, Officers were dispatched for a recurring littering report in the 300 Block of Marshall Street. (KS-25-009951). The reporting party was advised not to confront the subject if the littering is observed and to contact KSPD.
9/16/25, at 7:13 PM, the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department requested additional units’ assistance with locating a subject who had fled on foot from an incident they were investigating. (KS-25-009972). Officers assisted, along with other departments, in maintaining a perimeter until the area was checked.
9/16/25, at 11:23 PM, a traffic detail was conducted in the area of W. South Street and Lafayette Street. (KS-25-009974). During this time, no loud vehicles were heard, and no traffic violations were observed.
9/17/25, at 9:00 AM, Officers were dispatched to a business in the 600 Block of S. Union Street for a theft report. (KS-25-009995). Later that evening, the business owner advised that the subject’s parent came in and paid for the stolen items and no longer wishes to pursue charges.
9/17/25, at 9:07 PM, a traffic detail was conducted in the area of W. South Street and Lafayette Street. (KS-25-010004). During this time, no loud vehicles were heard, and no traffic violations were observed.
9/18/25, at 10:03 AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a suspicious person observed around 9:40 AM in the 300 Block of W. State Street. (KS-25-010023). The reporting party advised that the male subject was walking behind her, and she observed a large knife in the subject's back pocket. Due to the time delay, Officers advised the reporting party to call 9-1-1 if she saw the subject again.
9/18/25, at 5:05 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a subject walking in the 700 Block of Wayne Avenue, allegedly looking into windows. (KS-25-010043). Officers patrolled the area but were unable to locate the individual described.
9/18/25, at 7:22 PM, Officers were dispatched for a traffic hazard involving a tractor-trailer that needed assistance backing up to make a turn. (KS-25-010045). Upon arrival, the truck was no longer in the area.
9/19/25, at 12:09 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of D Street for a suspicious condition of an unknown person ringing the reporting party’s doorbell several times. (KS-25-010053). The area was checked, but no subjects were located.
9/19/25, at 7:29 AM, while conducting a traffic stop, Officers were approached by a high school student who reported that she had lost her wallet during her walk to school. (KS-25-010068). The wallet was later located in the 100 Block of E. Cypress Street with its contents scattered on the roadway. Everything was collected and returned to the owner.
9/19/25, at 9:35 AM, Officers were dispatched for a female subject asleep in a vehicle in the 100 Block of E. South Street. (KS-25-010077). Contact was made with the subject, who advised that her husband works in the area and that she sometimes rests in their vehicle before leaving for work. Nothing suspicious was observed.
9/19/25, at 8:11 PM, Officers were dispatched for a phone report regarding a custody issue. (KS-25-010100). Upon further investigation, Officers suggested that the reporting party consult with their attorney to explore legal options.
