10/2/22 at 1:48AM, Officers were dispatched for a noise complaint in the 400 Block of S. Broad Street. (KS-22-005399). The homeowner was advised to go inside of the residence for the night.

10/2/22 at 9:51PM, Officers were dispatched for a parking complaint in the 500 Block of E. Cypress Street. (KS-22-005408). Officers were unable to locate where the operator/owner was due to the vehicle having a Delaware Temporary Tag.

10/3/22 at 7:58AM, Officers were advised of an overnight two vehicle hit and run accident in the 300 block of E. Maple Alley. (KS-22-005426). Follow up was conducted and the operator of the striking vehicle was identified on 10/8/22.

10/3/22 at 10:30AM, Officers were dispatched via email for a Safe-To-Say report regarding the possible sexual abuse of a juvenile. (KS-22-005417). Upon further investigation, charges were filed with District Court 15-3-04 on 10/9/22.

10/3/22 at 6:52PM, Officers were dispatched for a loose dog in the 100 block of S. Walnut Street. (KS-22-005433). Upon arrival no dog was found in the area.

10/4/22, Officers were requested to assist Southern Chester County Regional Police Department after Kennett Middle School had received a suspicious active threat call. Kennett Square Police Officers responded to Kennett High School, Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center and Bancroft Elementary School to ensure the safety of all students and faculty until the incident at the Kennett Middle School was cleared by SCCRPD.  KSPD Officers then remained on location at the Kennett High School and Mary D. Lang until students were dismissed for the day.

10/4/22 at 5:21PM, Officers were dispatched to the area of Scarlett Avenue and Lafayette Street for a report of an erratic driver. (KS-22-005446). The incident occurred outside of Kennett Square Borough.

10/5/22 at 2:28PM, Officers were dispatched for a report from a witness of a hit and run accident in the 100 Block of E. State Street. (KS-22-005461). Upon further investigation, Officers were able to identify the operator of the striking vehicle.

10/5/22 at 9:13AM, while on patrol Officers observed a vehicle in the area of S. Willow Street and E. Cypress Street with a flat rear tire. (KS-22-005457). Officers were able to assist the vehicle owner with changing the flat tire.

10/6/22 at 11:54AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a parking complaint in the area of S. Broad Street and Birch Street. (KS-22-005475). One parking ticket was issued due to the vehicle parked along a yellow curb.

10/6/22 at 9:33PM, Officers were dispatched for a noise complaint of loud music in the 300 Block of E. Linden Street. (KS-22-005490). Contact was made with the homeowner who was advised to turn the music down.

10/7/22 at 6:14PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of an erratic driver in the area of S. Washington Street and W. State Street. (KS-22-005509). The area was checked for a vehicle matching the description with negative results.

10/7/22 at 7:19PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in 700 Block of W. State Street for a vehicle travelling at 47 MPH in a 25 MPH zone. (KS-22-005508). Due to the vehicle operator not having insurance or a driver’s license, the vehicle was towed from location.

10/8/22 at 10:52AM, Officers were dispatched for a parking complaint in the 100 Block of W. State Street. (KS-22-005517). Upon arrival the vehicle described was no longer in said location.

10/8/22 at 12:27AM, Officers were dispatched for a noise complaint in the 400 Block of Magnolia Street. (KS-22-005512). The homeowner was advised of the complaint and agreed to turn the music off and keep the noise down.

10/8/22 at 7:00PM, Officers were dispatched for a noise complaint of barking dogs in the 200 Block of Race Street. (KS-22-005523). Upon arrival to the area, no dogs were heard barking.
