12/18/22 at 9:28PM, Officers were dispatched for an erratic driver in the area of S. Willow Street and E. State Street. (KS-22-006821). Officers made contact with the operator of the vehicle and detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverages. The operator was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

12/19/22 at 10:30AM, Officers were dispatched for an accident involving a vehicle striking a building, causing damage, in the 100 Block of E. Cypress Street. (KS-22-006830).

12/20/22 at 11:50AM, Officers were dispatched for a parking complaint in the 100 Block of E. State Street. (KS-22-006854). One parking ticket was issued for parking on private property at the owner’s request.

12/21/22 at 6:11PM, Officers were dispatched for a parking complaint in the 700 Block of S. Garfield Street for a vehicle blocking the reporting person’s mailbox. (KS-22-0068830). Officer advised no violation was observed nor was the vehicle parked in front of the mailbox.

12/21/22 at 4:16PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a traffic violation that occurred at the intersection of Marshall Street and Juniper Alley. (KS-22-006877). One traffic citation was issued for vehicle running bus’s red lights.

12/21/22 at 2:05AM, Officers were dispatched for a verbal domestic in the 600 Block of W. Cypress Street. (KS-22-006869). Officers did not observe any signs of injury on either subject evolved.

12/21/22 at 12:55AM, Officers were dispatched for a vehicle alarm going off in a parking lot in the 600 Block of W. Cypress Street. (KS-22-006868). Everything appeared normal with the vehicle, and no one was observed in the area.

12/22/22 at 12:17AM, Officers were dispatched for a repossession of a vehicle in the 300 Block of W. South Street. (KS-22-006885).

12/22/22 at 12:40PM, Officers were dispatched for an identity theft report regarding an unknown person opening a credit card in the victim’s name. (KS-22-006894).

12/23/22 at 1:40AM, Officers were dispatched for an alarm in the 200 Block of E. Cypress Street. (KS-22-006903). Just prior to the dispatch, town lost power momentarily. Officers checked the building and found it to be secure.

12/24/22 at 9:19PM, Officers were dispatched for a wellbeing check in the 800 Block of Lafayette. Street for a 911 hang up. (KS-22-00). Officers made contact with all subjects in the residence and did not observe any signs of a fight or injuries.

12/24/22 at 1:22AM, Officers conducted a traffic stop after a vehicle made a right turn at a red light without stopping. (KS-22-006926). The intersection at S. Union Street and E. Cypress Street is posted “No Turn on Red”. One Non-Traffic Citation was issued due to drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
