Police Blotter

7/25/21 at 5:00AM, while on patrol Officers were approached by a male who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. This subject had made several comments about drinking throughout the night and was unable to stand still in one spot. (KS-21-005757). A Non-Traffic Citation for public intoxication was filed.

7/25/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks throughout Borough neighborhoods. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005770).

7/26/21 at 1:16PM, Officers were dispatched in reference to vandalism to multiple properties under construction in the 100 block of E. Cedar Street. (KS-21-005784).

7/26/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted rotating patrol check through Stenning Hills neighborhood. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005794).

7/26/21 at 8:35PM, Officers conducted a foot patrol of the South Street Bridge. (KS-21-005790). No vandalism was observed at that time.

7/26/21 at 8:28AM, Officers conducted an escort for an oversized tractor trailer through the Borough without incident. (KS-21-005777).

7/26/21 at 11:53AM, Officers were dispatched for a verbal domestic in the 700 Block of Center Street. (KS-21-005783).

7/26/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted rotating patrol check through Stenning Hills neighborhood. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005818).

7/26/21 at 7:35AM, Officers were dispatched for a disturbance between neighbors in the 300 Block of Birch Street. (KS-21-005801).

7/27/21 at 5:25PM while on patrol, Officers observed a vehicle with hazards on stating their vehicle would not start. (KS-21-005814). Officers were able to push the vehicle into a vacant lot in the 200 Block of E. Linden Street.

7/27/21 at 9:04PM, Officers made contact with two individuals on the in the 300 Block of W. Cedar Street on the Railroad Tracks. (KS-21-005817). The subjects were advised they were not allowed to be on the Railroad Tracks. Officers observed signs of impairment and an odor of marijuana resulting in two Non-Traffic Citations to be filed.

7/28/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks throughout Borough neighborhoods. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005846).

7/28/21 at 10:32PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a repossession of a vehicle in the 500 Block of Center Street. (KS-21-005847).

7/28/21 at 3:24AM, Officers were dispatched for a domestic involving a firearm in the 300 Block of Lafayette Street. (KS-21-005822). Officers were able to secure the firearm without incident.

7/28/21 at 12:25PM, Officers were dispatched for a wellbeing check in the 500 Block of S. Broad Street. (KS-21-005829).

7/28/21 at 12:20PM while on patrol, Officers were advised of vehicles speeding and not stopping for the stop sign at Magnolia Street and S. Garfield St. (KS-21-005830). A daily traffic enforcement detail was assigned to run through 8/13/21. Traffic detail results to be updated after enforcement is completed.

7/29/21 at 8:50AM, Officers were dispatched for a report in reference to fraudulent activity involving a company in the 100 Block of E. State Street who sells children’s playsets. (KS-21-005858). Officer advised KSPD has taken multiple reports for this similar incident. The reporting person was refunded their money by their bank.

7/29/21 at 12:06AM, Officers were dispatched for a report involving an assault that occurred in early 2020 at the YMCA in the 100 Block of Race Street. (KS-21-005863). Victim wishes not to proceed with further police investigation.
 

7/29/21 at 5:56PM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment in reference to check fraud. (KS-21-005872). Check was possibly stolen from a business in the 400 Block of West State Street. Investigations are pending surveillance footage.

7/29/21 at 11:30PM, Officers were requested to assist Kennett Township Police Department with locating a group of juveniles that fled towards Anson B. Nixon Park. (KS-21-005880).

7/29/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks throughout Borough neighborhoods. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005881).

7/30/21 at 9:49PM, Officers conducted a foot patrol of the S. Union Street Bridge and Railroad tracks. (KS-21-005899). No vandalism or subjects were observed in the area during that time.

7/30/21 at 4:15PM, Officers were dispatched for a parking complaint in the 100 Block of W. State Street for three vehicles parked in reserved spaces. (KS-21-005893).

7/30/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks in the area of Stenning Hills. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005905).

7/31/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks in the area of Stenning Hills. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005922).

7/31/21 at 1:24AM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of W. State Street for a noise complaint of loud music and loud talking. (KS-21-005906). Contact was made and asked for them to move the party inside and to turn the music down to a minimum.
