Police Blotter

7/4/21 at 2:18AM, Officers observed a vehicle driving with heavy front-end damage and missing a headlight. (KS-21-005336). A traffic stop was initiated in the 500 Block of Ridge Avenue, resulting in the operator of the vehicle charged with DUI.

7/4/21 at 6:50PM, Officers were dispatched for vehicles drag racing in the area of West Cypress Street and South Mill Road. (KS-21-005344). Upon arrival no vehicles were observed in the area.

7/4/21 at 7:44PM, Officers assisted a motorist change their flat tire after they hit a curb in the 600 Block of Cope Road. (KS-21-005345).

7/4/21 from 8:25PM to 11:15PM Officers made contact with several subjects throughout the Borough for fireworks. (KS-21-005346, KS-21-005347, KS-21-005348). Each person was given a verbal warning and advised if they received any furthers calls for fireworks this would result in a Non-Traffic Citation. One Non-Traffic Citation was issued for Borough Ordinance.

7/4/21 at 11:56PM, Officers were dispatched for a disturbance between two males in the 200 Block of Scarlett Alley. (KS-21-005350). The argument was over before the Officers arrived on scene.

7/4/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks in the area of Stenning Hills. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005349).

7/4/21 at 3:46PM, Officers were dispatched for a child custody dispute. (KS-21-005343). Officers advised this was a civil matter and there was no court ordered child custody arrangement.

7/5/21 at 7:28PM, Officers were dispatched for a disturbance in the 100 Block of West State Street. (KS-21-005365). A Non-Traffic Citation was issued for Harassment.

7/5/21 at 2:30PM, Officers were dispatched for a wellbeing check in the 400 Block of Hessian Drive. (KS-21-005384). Department of Aging was contacted due to the state of confusion of the individual and the lack of food in the residence.

7/6/21 at 4:25PM, Officers were dispatched for a report in reference to a fraud attempt in the 400 Block of Center Street. (KS-21-005385).

7/6/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks in the area of Stenning Hills. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005369).

7/6/21 at 4:27PM, Officers were dispatched in reference to a possible scam in the 700 Block of South Garfield Street. (KS-21-005390).

7/6/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks in the area of Stenning Hills. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005418).

7/721 at 6:30PM, a report was made regarding vehicles being egged in the 400 Block of Hessian Drive. (KS-21-005418). Pending Ring Doorbell Footage of the area.

7/7/21 at 8:30PM, Officers were dispatched for a domestic disturbance in the 400 Block of South Walnut Street. (KS-21-005412). All parties separated without issue.

7/7/21 at 6:47PM, Officers were dispatched for cable wires in the roadway in the 200 Block of South Walnut Street. (KS-21-005414).  Verizon was notified and the wires were removed from the roadway.

7/7/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks in the area of Stenning Hills. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005415).

7/7/21 at 5:51PM, Officers were dispatched for a disturbance in the 100 Block of South Union Street. (KS-21-005405). The incident evolved into an animal complaint.

7/7/21 between 7:00PM and 7:00AM parking enforcement was conducted throughout the Borough. (KS-21-005408). No violations were observed.

7/7/21 at 8:23PM, Officers were dispatched to Landhope Farms located in the 500 Block of South Union Street for a disturbance. (KS-21-005409).

7/7/21 at 11:00AM, Officers were dispatched for a fraud report relating to an unemployment scam. (KS-21-005423).

7/8/21 at 5:39PM, Officers were dispatched for a trespassing complaint at Mary D. Lang in the 400 Block of Center Street. (KS-21-005429). Both juveniles left the property after Officers spoke to them.

7/8/21 at 6:08PM, Officers were dispatched for a dog in the roadway in the area of North Union Street, heading towards the cemetery. (KS-21-005434).

7/8/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks in the area of Stenning Hills. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005436).

7/9/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks in the area of Stenning Hills. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005456).

7/9/21 at 8:32AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a dog bite that occurred the previous night in the 100 Block of Magnolia Street. (KS-21-005442).

7/9/21 at 11:28AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a vehicle with a broken window in the 600 Block of Magnolia Court. (KS-21-005446).

7/10/21 at 9:48PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of fireworks in the area of West South Street and Lafayette Street. (KS-21-005468). No fireworks were heard when Officers patrolled the area.

7/10/21 between 7:00PM and 7:00AM parking enforcement was conduct throughout the Borough. (KS-21-005474). One parking ticket was issued.

7/10/21 at 8:47PM, Officers were dispatched in reference to a verbal domestic disturbance in the 300 Block of South Union Street. (KS-21-005467). Both parties were advised to leave one another alone for the evening.

7/10/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks in the area of Stenning Hills. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-005471).

7/10/21 at 12:32AM, Officers were dispatched for keys locked inside of a vehicle in the 100 Block of West State Street. (KS-21-005457). The Officer was able to unlock the vehicle without incident.

7/10/21 at 12:02PM, Officers assisted with a tractor trailer that was stuck in the area of North Broad Street and Fairthorne Street. (KS-21-005464).
