***UPDATE*** 

The road has been cleared of debris and re-opened for normal traffic.

Rte 926 (E Street Rd) in Westtown & Thornbury Townships will be closed in both directions, between S. Westtown Rd and Cheyney Rd, due to an accident and a large tree down across the roadway. There were minor injuries from the accident, however, the tree knocked down electrical wires which are still live, and emergency crews are waiting for PECO to de-energize the wires so the tree can be removed. Expect the roadway to be closed for an extended period of time and traffic will be detoured around the area, so plan accordingly.
