During township meetings on January 21st, Interim Chief of Police David Leahy shared valuable insights about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Hotline and the newly established Mobile Crisis Response Team in Chester County, which launched in 2024. This initiative aims to provide rapid and effective mental health support to those in need.
On January 22nd, representatives from the Human Needs Network of Chester County and the Mobile Crisis Response Team presented this impactful program to the Chester County Police Chiefs Association. Interim Chief Leahy was in attendance and had the opportunity to discuss the program with these incredible teams.
