The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department (WEGOPD), Criminal Investigation Division, in conjunction with the West Chester Area School District (WCASD) is currently investigating a threat that was directed towards Stetson Middle School. The threat was reported by Safe2Say. 

The student responsible has been identified and will not be in school Monday. There is no active threat to the school, students or staff.

Out of an abundance of caution, there will be additional police presence during the morning drop-off and throughout the school day. This is an ongoing investigation and additional information will be made available when appropriate. WEGOPD will continue to work with WCASD to ensure the safety of the students and staff.
