Theft Investigations in Westtown Township

THEFT INVESTIGATIONS IN WESTTOWN TOWNSHIP


The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department is investigating two thefts from vehicles and one report of a stolen vehicle.  All three incidents occurred between Saturday, October 24, 2020 and Monday, October 26, 2020 in the 200 block of Jaqueline Drive and the 600 block of Spring Line Drive, Westtown Township.

On October 26, 2020 at 7:00 p.m., a 2020 Ford Focus stolen from Jacqueline Drive was involved in a serious crash on I-95 in Delaware County. The male driver was transported to the Crozer-Chester Medical Center in critical condition. After the crash, a wallet stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Spring Line Drive was found in the wreck vehicle.

During the same timeframe, another resident of Jacqueline Drive reported having money stolen from the center console from an unlocked vehicle. 

Police would like to remind all resident to lock their vehicles, remove valuables and avoid leaving car keys and fobs inside parked cars.

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department is working with the Pennsylvania State Police, Media Barracks, on the stolen vehicle and crash investigation.
