Is your vehicle's registration plate hidden?

You may not know it, but PA Vehicle Code Section 1332 (B) prohibits any item from blocking the clear view of your vehicle's registration plate from behind. Some of the items our officers have encountered lately include (but are not limited to!) cargo carriers, bicycles, salt spreaders, dealership license plate frames, wheelchairs, etc. This is a PRIMARY violation in Pennsylvania punishable by a fine and costs at $171.50

Most aftermarket cargo carriers have available options to permit you to relocate your registration plate to make it visible to us. Please consider it.
