Accreditation

North Coventry Township is an accredited law enforcement agency under the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission program sponsored by the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association. The department received its accredited status in July of 2008 and was the first law enforcement agency in Chester County to receive accreditation status after several years of preparation which included policy and procedure review and facilities upgrades. The accreditation process shows the community that the North Coventry Township Police Department operates in compliance with accepted professional standards and best practices for law enforcement. The department provides proof on an ongoing basis that it operates within these standards.  North Coventry Township has also recently been re-accredited in May of 2014.
