NORTH COVENTRY TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT IS LOOKING FOR ITS NEXT OFFICER - COULD IT BE YOU?

North Coventry Township is the northernmost point of Chester County, Pennsylvania.  The Township borders Montgomery County to the north and Berks County to the west.  The 14 officers serve a population of almost 8,500 residents who reside within the township's 13-plus square miles.

The department focuses on supporting the growth and well-being of each officer.  Officers have opportunities to attend different trainings to expand their ability to do the job more confidently and efficiently.  Officers respond to a wide variety of calls each year along with enforcing traffic laws.  They are also involved in different community events throughout the year including the annual Fallen Officers car show.  Our officers have developed a great working relationship with the community and the local schools.  Our team is looking forward to serving and protecting our community and is excited to be moving into a new police department within the next few years.  

APPLICANTS MUST BE:

• 21 years old or older by July 1, 2025
• Possess a HS diploma or GED
• Be a US Citizen
• Possess a valid PA driver's license
• Act 120 Certified by July 1, 2025
